Healing Hands
A nun in Wisconsin combines prayer and massage therapy in her practice:
Followers of Sister M. Josephine Braun say once she lays hands on them, there’s no turning back from a spiritual journey unlike any other.
With candles, soft music, and soothing scents, the registered nurse and certified massage therapist, who also is a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Agnes, is one of a handful of Agnesian sisters who offer mind, body and spirit integration. Her business, Healing Touch, combines prayer and Swedish massage given by a woman bound to a holistic life approach.
