Self-Help For Chronic Pain

This athletic father of two uses self-help techniques called Body Rolling to ease chronic hip pain. Of course, there's a book on Body Rolling available.

The technique uses self-massage (from placing the body's weight on a ball) and a prescribed sequence of movements to increase muscle elasticity and blood flow in an affected region.
