San Diego's Sharp Coronado Hospital offers baked cookies and spa treatments so that patients and their visitors don't feel like they're in a hospital.
“Our ER satisfaction is in the 99th percentile and stays there month after month for almost two years. Our outpatient satisfaction has gone up so high from starting so low that we got a compass award from Press Gainey for improvement in outpatient satisfaction,” Hall adds.
