A Super Massage Therapist

Almost every professional sports team utilizes massage therapy as part of its training regimen. Hope Rappoli, team massage therapist for the New England Patriots, helps keep keep the team in shape with deep-tissue therapeutic sports massage:

"It used to be once a week," said Rappoli. "Now it's more like four, five or six days a week, seeing two to four people at a time. The new trainer (Jim Whalen) is very supportive of massage. I've been doing this since Bill Parcells was coach (Parcells coached the Patriots from 1993-96), but it's stressed more now. Other teams have been into it for a while. It took a little longer to make it to New England."

Now that it has, players have embraced it.

This deep tissue therapeutic sports massage concept has obviously rubbed the Patriots the right way.
