Got Stress? Massage May Be The Answer

The Clark County Columbian emphasizes that massage therapy is an effective tool to combat daily stress, as well as other ailments:

While types of massage therapy vary, from simple stress-reduction to more complicated and intense healing practices, the majority are focused on helping the body slow down, reenergize and rejuvenate.

"Everyone can benefit from massage," says Siri S. McElliott, Acting President of Ashmead College. "Massage therapists work with both the general population and special populations. Massage aids in decreasing stress, increasing activities of daily living and providing a better quality of life."

The article goes on to provide tips on choosing a massage therapist, as well as choosing a school if you are interested in a career in massage therapy.
