Understanding Swollen Lymph Nodes

Lumps in the neck following a cold are probably not anything to worry about according to Newsday's health education column. Chances are, it is your immune system working to eliminate the last of the illness.

Since enlarged lymph nodes can be caused by infections or cancer, it's important to be able to tell the difference.
