Ethical Testing Of CAM
Ethical testing of Complementary and Alternative Medicine is the focus of this Boston article. Given that Americans spend $30 billion a year on these therapies, it's important for people to know whether their health dollars are serving them well.
The money for the research is there. Congress has appropriated $117 million toward alternative medicine research this year alone, but the question is how to put a sometimes unconventional procedure through conventional testing.
