Craniosacral Therapy Helps Cancer Patient Cope

A Washington, DC cancer patient has exhausted all her options for cancer treatment and now relies on Craniosacral therapy to cope.

Within the human body lies a blueprint for self-healing.

"Craniosacral therapy is a form of bodywork but it's totally different from massage. It's a very light touch. People stay fully dressed, and it's incredibly profound even though it's amazingly subtle, and it's based on the cerebral spinal fluid movement and the energies around that."

Chessare said, "When you do this work, you are connecting very immediately with the nervous system so you are always balancing it out. Lots of people with chronic pain, chronic issues, chronic emotional issues, anxiety, panic attacks, and I work with a lot of people in recovery."

Kim Hupp relies deeply on this therapy to get her through the mental, emotional and physical pain of cancer -- a disease that has spread all over her body.
