Unique Sales Strategy For Massage Gadget

In Ferndale, Michigan, one couple mortgaged their future to sell electronic massage beds (I really wish they would refer to them as tables). Their philosophy is to let clients try out the tables without any pressure to buy--the tables will sell themselves.

Customers recline on their backs, fully clothed, on the CGM-M3500, a cot-sized massage appliance that combines rolling massage and spinal acupressure. Relief of stress and tension are accomplished by rollers the size of roller skate wheels embedded in a heating panel and cushioned with foam.

Tom Pearson, a Lansing based regional manager who oversees eight stores in Michigan, says Ceragem distributorships have been shut down if owners are caught charging for use of the bed in the store.

Each customer is asked to bring more friends and family members to sample the product.

I think there are easier ways to make a living. An automatic massage table is nice, but there is nothing that will replace the sensitivity of the human hand.
