Stress Incontinence
I was so excited after my Visceral Manipulation class in April. I now have the tools to help the handful of clients that reported having stress incontinence.
A long-standing client came to me, and after gathering more information from her, I discovered that I may not be able to work with her because she had a surgery involving a bladder sling which had pins set into her pubic bones. I don't want to mess with that!
So, I'm doing research to find out just what a bladder sling is and how it's constructed. She also asked me if I could find weights that would help her build pelvic floor muscles while she does her Kegel exercises. Doctors recommend these exercises to help prevent a variety of pelvic floor problems including prolapse.
