Healing Through The Human Energy Field
Energy healing is highly controversial. Our Western medical model does not support the use of this therapy, yet modern physics offers scientific evidence of the human energy field. Many bodywork modalities work with this human energy field, and more and more schools and classes are devoted to this discipline.
Energy healing is a way to move energy, he said. "You have a field of energy around your body, and your body is energy. So what physics would tell you about energy is that your body continues beyond the skin," Gordon said as he explained energy healing.
Reading the aura, freeing blocks in the energy field, opening the chakras, and balancing the energy field are some of the things involved in energy healing, Gordon said. Some forms of energy work include Reiki, acupuncture, acupressure and cranial sacral.
"If you're doing this kind of work, you should also be receiving this kind of work. Every time you give someone a healing you get one in exchange," he said. "If you did an energy healing and you feel depleted, you probably didn't help them at all."
