Innovative Massage Venue

Ann Arbor massage therapist, Eileen Bristol, opened a massage triage clinic for the weary and over-worked. Located in an old service station, she offers massages both indoors and out-of-doors, weather permitting. Clients can come in and get as long a massage as they want.

RelaxStation works more like a walk-in clinic than a reserved service. The small venue specializes in short chair massages.

Bristol employs 15 massage therapists who work in shifts throughout the week. They are paid an hourly wage, and their pay isn't dependent on the number of customers.

"It's definitely a different business model than I am used to," he said. "Having a place where people can just come in is excellent. I show up for work and people show up for massage. It's awesome."

She even hopes her business model will able to be duplicated or franchised. Contact information is at the end of the article.
