NFL Massage Therapist Keeps Athletes On Top Of Their Game

The Philadelphia Eagles massage therapist shares her experiences working with the team during this inspiring interview.

The most important female influence on the Philadelphia Eagles this season has got to be Kathy Sherrill, a certified massage therapist (do not call her masseuse) who specializes in neuromuscular re-education.

"I do a lot deep-tissue, neuromuscular work. The guys are so knotted up after a game, you've gotta push deep into the muscle to release it again. It can be pretty painful. But if you don't help them regain balance, rhythm and flexibility, they won't be as quick or responsive on the field."
