My sciatic pain client is making progress (see posts for March 26 and March 31). This client is highly motivated to improve and follows excercise, stretching and home care directives such as alternating heat and ice, and alternate positioning for better sleep.
When they came in this past session, they were walking better and reported they were able to stand longer before having to sit. The muscles of the hip were much more supple. This allowed me to work deeper into the muscles of the hip and get the muscles surrounding the primary area of pain to soften significantly. They left the session walking more upright than I have seen to date. I am optimistic that there will be full recovery for this client.
