Folks in Bucks County, PA have suffered with the worst flooding in the area since 1955. And it seems that many are lending a helping hand, including massage.
Food and shelter, cleaning supplies, advice - even a sympathetic ear - are offered by about 75 trained Red Cross volunteers. And did I mention a free 20-minute massage?
It seemed a silly offer at first, but darned if some exhausted evacuees weren't thrilled to let a therapist from Yardley Straight Chiropractic Centre knead away tension and sore muscles while they waited their turns to sign up for cleaning kits and a place to stay until the cleaning's done.
