Restless Leg Syndrome

Restless leg syndrome is a neurological disorder characterized by the inability to find a comfortable position for the leg.

Individuals affected with the disorder describe the sensations as pulling, drawing, tingling, pins and needles, prickly, and sometimes painful feelings that are usually accompanied by an overwhelming urge to move the legs. Movement provides temporary relief from the discomfort.

My experience working with clients with restless leg syndrome is that there usually a low back issue with the problem such as degenerative joint disease or the early stages of piriformis syndrome.
