Sciatic Pain Client Walking Without Assistance

This may be the last time I report on my client with the sciatic pain (see April 22, April 8, March 31, March 26).

They are much improved and walking without need of a cane. Their walking is so improved that they walked to the end of their block and back and were so thrilled to be doing so that walked the block again.

However, last night while relaxing in front of the television they sneezed. The action jerked their whole body and sent the muscles of the hip into spasm. They feared they had undone all our hard work.

Checking on them today, the muscles of the hip were still supple. The locus of pain was at the greater trochanter and a bit of deep tissue at the attachment loosened everything back up.

We make a little bit of progress every session. I expect that they will no longer need weekly massage by the end of this month. I will recommend that they return on an as-needed basis.
