Stress Busters For Pregnancy And Delivery

Stress, a major factor in pre-term births, can trigger changes in homone production and trigger early labor. The trick to a having a smooth preganancy and delivery is to keep stress down to reasonable levels.

A few New-Age tricks may help to make pregnancy the painless, positive experience it should be.

Massage, meditation, yoga and even acupuncture can help a pregnant woman to relax.

Light exercise for about 30 minutes on most, if not all days, can also help. But, aerobicize with caution to protect your unborn baby. "Their little bodies will overheat. They have no way of cooling down like we do. They can't sweat and they can't drink more water," said Nancy Griffin with Mommy Care.
