Indian Head Massage

The Herald examines "champi," or Indian Head Massage.

Indian head massage focuses on the area around the central nervous system – the scalp, neck, shoulders and face – with the aim being to relieve tension, stimulate circulation and restore joint movement.
Unlike some other forms of massage, it can be done sitting in a chair, fully clothed. "It's really easy to do and easy to receive," says Reid. "It's this pleasurable, endorphin-releasing experience."
