Massage Therapist Serves Big Story At US Open
At the U.S. Open tennis tournament, Sports Illustrated says that massage therapist Gary Bergman is "as good a story as you'll find at the USTA National Tennis Center this fortnight." There were many massage therapists at the tournament, what makes his story so special? Bergman is blind.
"The only way those stereotypes (of the blind) are going to be broken is if I break them," Bergman says. "I do take pride in it. I really do. I'm not a blind therapist. I'm a therapist. And that's what matters."
