My Continuing Education Experience: An Overview
I returned from my training course in Visceral Manipulation 3: The Pelvis late last night. What an incredible experience to work with so many sensitive and talented therapists.
Course overview:
All days covered anatomy, bio-mechanics and function, motility, and hands-on techniques for particular organs of the pelvis.
Day 1: Sacrum, Coccyx, and Bladder review
Day 2: Bladder, Kidneys and Ureter review, Uterus
Day 3: Uterus, Ovaries
Day 4: Ovaries, Fallopian Tubes, Prostate, Rectum
While overwhelming to receive such a huge volume of information (and so much hands-on bodywork), I'm excited to share my experiences. I will recap every day's material in a seperate post this week. I hope that by discussing what we learned, it will reinforce the learning experience for me.
