Gorilla Massage Fund

The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle profiles a non-profit charity that pays for . The "Gorilla Massage Fund," named after the original recipient;s wild golf swing, is recruiting physical therapists, acupuncturists and massage therapists who will offer their services at a reduced rate for the charity's recipients.

"It is remarkable," says Wiesner, 49, of Penfield. Intravenous steroid therapy also helps him. But the massages are No. 1, says Wiesner.

Cogan, an employer insurance consultant at Lawley Benefits Group in Rochester, wants to help more people. He established an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization called the Gorilla Massage Fund, named for Wiesner's wild gorilla-like golf swing.
