A Nice Compliment
I got a nice compliment from an older client yesterday. They had a minimally invasive knee replacement where the quadracep was left intact approximately eight months ago. While they are recuperating well, they still didn't feel like the knee is their own.
They have been coming to see me for about two months and occasionally they let me work on their knees. Yesterday they said they felt as though the blood supply must be improving to the knee as a result of the massage. The knee was finally feeling like their own knee again.
While I'm flattered by their statement, I credit time with the improved sense of sensation in their knee and I told them so. They agreed that I might be right, but they still maintain that this final improvement is, in part, due to getting regular massage.
