Here's a great website for all your fitness needs. ABCs of Fitness is a great resource for beginners and veteran fitness buffs alike.

Basics for beginners on how to get started in an exercise program, how muscles work, how to assess your fitness level and more. All exercise styles have a section at the beginning to explain how to do the exercises correctly.

Exercises are broken down into type such as cardiovascular, weight training, and water fitness. Say you are into stretching and yoga, they break down your workout into areas of the body which is great if you have an injury to a specific area. What is great for all of these is that they have concise directions for how to do the exercise with pictures for proper form.

Of course, before you start any exercise program, it is recommended that you get an assessment from your physician.
