Eat Curry
Do you like Indian food? How about Thai food? If your answer is yes, you may be naturally lowering your chances for certain cancers. According to BBC News, bright yellow turmeric, found in curries, has the ability to kill cancer cells in the lab.
The chemical - curcumin - has long been thought to have healing powers and is already being tested as a treatment for arthritis and even dementia.
I remember talking with a client about turmeric helping them with cystic fibrosis, also. But this newest benefit of turmeric is being viewed as a future treatment for esophageal cancer. So if you like curries, eat up -- colorful foods are good for you.
